Travel Insurance

You must have and maintain travel / medical insurance when traveling to Canada - make sure it's a comprehensive travel work insurance
that also covers you for loss of luggage, health care, hospitalisation and repatriation. Any health issues or mishaps such as a skiing / snowboarding accident requiring hospitalisation, can be very expensive in Canada.
It is also a working holiday visa requirement that you have and maintain Travel / Medical insurance for the length of time you are in Canada.

Overview

With 'Work in Canada' it's all about you.
It's all about you traveling, having a great time, having new experiences, having a comfy place to live, and having the money coming in to enjoy it all.  No need for you to stress out on arrival in Canada looking for work and accommodation or attending job fairs, we make it simple and easy for you to kickstart your working holiday in Canada - you have your work and accommodation secured before you leave home.

We work exclusively with resorts lodges and hotels, all of 3-5 star quality, with fantastic reputations and in world renowned locations, such as Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise and surrounding areas within the Canadian Rockies.  The great news for you is that by coming on board with us you will have your subsidized accommodation and work all organised and in writing before you leave home.  All you need to do is step off the plane and live your adventure, it's that easy.  You get to experience new cultures, work in fun jobs, learn new skills, earn money, make new friends, have fun.... what could be better!

Imagine waking up in your staff accommodation, seeing the views of the awe inspiring and towering Canadian Rocky Mountains glistening in the snow, or better still, the adrenaline you get from snowboarding or skiing down various runs from the easiest to the most difficult on your day off. The Canadian Rocky Mountains offer some of the best downhill skiing in the world,  and it’s where travelers from around the world like to gravitate. The scenery is fantastic and the terrain can be hard to beat and after a fun filled day on the mountain, meet up with new friends at the many bars and cafes around the town or on the mountain slopes and organise the next days events, (we'll that's if your've got the day off again).

There's plenty to do in all the seasons - in winter you can go heli-skiing, snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, ice hockey, ice fishing, even making a snowman can be fun.  The summer season is also a great time to live and work in Canada and offer's just as much an adventure, maybe more, for one thing, it’s the busiest time of the year in the Rockies, with concerts and festivals, american football, stampedes, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain bike riding, camping in the mountains and swimming in the freezing cold lakes, sometimes amongst the icebergs (if you're really adventurous).

There's also the world renowned Vancouver Islands to take your working holiday at and it's here where you can surf, snowboard and go deep sea fishing.  The cities of Vanvouver, Calgary and Edmonton are vibrant cities that offer plenty of cultural experiences, many bars and an abundance of night life and are all close to the surrounding mountains of the Rockies.

It doesn’t matter where you travel in Canada, it’s an exciting destination, with plenty of activity
and you’ll get to experience some of the best times of your life and get to form many friendships with people from all parts of the world.

Most places will expect you to commit to at least 5-6 months for seasonal work and up to 1 year if ongoing work is offered.  There is also an opportunity to work up to 2years with the same property so long as your working holiday visa allows you to be in Canada for this length of time and so long as the properties wish to employ you this length of time.

Is accommodation supplied with my job?
Yes, the majority of properties offer staff accommodation with your job, in most cases you will live on site or within walking distance of the property and you will be living with other staff who work at the same property.

Absolutely, however it is best to advise us at the time you apply so we can assist with further information on this.
